...news-paper that is.  Click on the link below to see us in the Frederick News Post.  We kicked off our 2012 Christmas Chorus performance schedule this past Saturday at the Sugarloaf Classic Car Club Christmas event.   Our second performance was at the Middletown Library for their annual Christmas Program which we have been a part of for the past 6 years and that's where the Frederick News Post caught us in all our splendor and glory.  Stay tuned... we have lots more performances and we never know when we made the papers again!!!

Some great things about our chorus

Being a part of Clustered Spires is such a fun and rewarding experience.  Singing along with other ladies who have the same passion creates an environment of excitement.  This organization has presented me with opportunities that have provided a wonderful fulfillment of a fantastic music family.  I would encourage everyone to become a part of our singing group.  Stop by and visit us.....I'm sure you will enjoy your visit.

New Rehearsal Location and Time

Did you hear?  We are now rehearsing at the Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 703 West Patrick Street in Frederick on MONDAY nights at 7 PM.  We love our new location as it is so centrally located.  And our switch to Mondays has already brought us a number of new guests!  Join the crowd and come check us out!

Christmas Performances

We performed all over this season, from nursing homes to downtown to the Classic Car Club.  We also sang on the Santa Train, where children have the opportunity to ride a train for about 45 minutes and meet Santa Claus.  We sang all sorts of seasonal songs, including traditional carols like "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and "Silent Night", Santa songs like "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" and "Santa Baby", and winter songs including "Let It Snow" and "Winter Wonderland".  Our Christmas performances were a blast!  Downtown we had a mascot, a dog named Jack!

National Anthem at the Frederick Keys

Not even the rain kept us from singing!  We huddled under a tiny pavilion while it rained, and then sang a few tunes outside the gate.  We received many compliments on our rendition of the anthem, and it was a great game!  The Keys won 6-1, and then we sat back and watched a spectacular fireworks show.
